Safeguarding Information

County Lines

In order to raise awareness in our whole school community, of this very serious current situation, we were pleased to welcome Escape Line into school to deliver County Lines workshops to our Year 5 and Year 6 children, staff and parents/carers. Information leaflets have also been provided to all families in our school; should you have not received this or would like an additional copy, please do not hesitate to ask. We would also recommend taking the time to visit the Escape Line website:
https://www.escapeline.org.uk/
If you have any concerns, or require further information, please do not hesitate to enquire at either school office.

Domestic Abuse Alerts

Each school receives Domestic Abuse Alerts from the Early Help Advice Point (EHAP). This enables the police and schools to work together when a child is at risk and allows the schools to be more aware of a child’s circumstances in order to offer support and safeguarding the child where necessary.

Operation Encompass

Our school is part of Operation Encompass. This is a police and education early intervention safeguarding partnership which supports children and young people who experience Domestic Abuse for more information please read the Operation Encompass Safeguarding Statement below.
